Da Lat University

Anonymous

My class -AVK26D in DaLat University

Located in the romantic flower- city

Where I used to live

And had memorable experiences about it

Da Lat University

Where I got knowledge

From warm –hearted teachers

Who are dedicated to learners.

Time has flied like wind

But it always exists in my mind

About my adulthood with my beloved friends

Working together to achieve together.

Warm

Collective Composition 1

Warm - warm Environment

The classroom itself; warm, cozy, and calm(peaceful)

we had a feeling of warm when it was cold

warm cozy place is the class

Warm, around our classroom is still echoing

the warm voice of our dear teacher

Warm voice of the teachers

마음이 따뜻한 - warmheartedness

From warm –hearted teachers

warm,

Jack's warm smile

warm,

a warm sprout

I am preparing for the winter life

bright yellow, warm ground, was my nest just to start

Warm,

but you appeared to me a warm poem

Nervousness

Collective Composition

(The window made me even more

nervous

when I have a presentation

assignment because I felt like               people are                    listening to me outside.)

I

remember laughing and making friends but at the same

time feeling

nervous

of not understanding the language super

well

Before [the Ecuadorean students]

came

I was

nervous

that the balance of the classroom won't

remain long

I          was                                                                nervous           as an                         aliean

anxiety (when we know there's

gonna be a quiz or exam)

The first class I was                                                                                                                                                     nervous

Class presentation,                            nervous

Nervousness Seed Experiment

Collective Composition

The morning I was tired of my new lifestyle

I put my life at stake, heading into the unknown danger.

I walked into the classroom silently and tried not to make any noise.

It was at a small classroom, kinda dark and the window was small too.

I was nervous.

The window made me even more nervous.

I felt like people are listening to me outside.

It was always a bit dim in the classroom, especially in those cloudy days.

Some times it was hard

The lights in that classroom were not really helpful.

Quite dark, the TV wasn't working.

Winter was here.

Prof. Peterson always stood in the "dark front".

I was a little bit scared of his tall and thin body.

He was not very interested in posing for pictures.

We didn't talk very much,

so I dare not communicate with him to boost my English.

I had many things to regret about the relationship with the teacher.

I was nervous that the balance of the classroom won't remain long.

Some people were shy and reluctant to speak up during class,

I was still very shy at that time,

and lacked confidence,

full of inexplicit fear and shyness,

trying to process what I face.

At times it wasn’t clear.

Frustrations & confusion

부끄러움 (shame)

Exhaustion due to fear of an accent misheard

Awkwardness when no one laughed

Anxiety

Many of us were very sad and felt a bit disappointed.

It was difficult to communicate with each other.

At times, confusion on our faces.

I had many thoughts of separations.

I was just separated with all my friends and family.

I have to take you out of my memory from time to time.

Almost everything was new to me because I was an alien.

Alone in a foreign country.

Alone in a new English classroom -

tired, small, clumsy

It made me sad to face this reality.

I was nervous as an aliean.

Sometimes I felt lonely,

sadness, grief -

the mind being dragged into the dark,

and all I want is to descend.

I’m tired of this birth.

Relaxed/Calm Seed Experiment

Collective Composition

Jongkeun was a well-mannered gentleman

who actively participated despite his innate calmness.

The classroom itself;

warm, cozy, and calm(peaceful).

relaxed,

Comfortable, cozy

The circumstances in the classroom were relaxed and interesting.

During the break before or in between class,

some people would lie on bean bag to relax.

Relaxed                                    relaxed,

it was really comforting to have a class like this

I fell into sleep because I didn't have enough time

to relax the day beofore.
