But there was a World:
Name Remainder Technique
As a way to play with how classroom poetry engages human subjectivity, I’m employing an eraser technique with the inciting poem as inspiration. Since the world of the classroom was composed of the three students and a teacher from various countries, I have tried to rebuild the classroom world using those elements: references to teachers, students/classmates, and places/nationalities. I have kept pronouns. I decided to keep possessive pronouns as well, but I removed the possessive “s” from proper names.
